Training dates for 2022 are March 29-31, June 28th-30th, Sept 27-29. You will be able to begin your pre-course material within 24 hours of payment and the soonest available in-person training date will be assigned to you.
Once payment is made you are agreeing to the terms of my training agreement:
Training Agreement
The Basic to Boss: Brows course is operated by Samantha Schmidt under Tattoo Image, Inc DBA The Beauty Lair. These terms and conditions form the agreement between you ( hereinafter " Student") and Samantha Schmidt. By purchasing this training course, you sign into this agreement and agree to abide and be bound by these terms and conditions. Basic to Boss: Brows
1.1 In order to get the most out of this training, you should ensure that you dedicate enough time weekly to learn the material presented and to complete any homework or assessments. During your hands-on portion you should ensure to arrive on time and attend each session in full. If you are unable to attend, you must notify me by email at [email protected]. You are not entitled to a refund if, because of your tardiness/absence, you miss all or part of your training.
1.2 If behavior or conduct is deemed unacceptable or inappropriate, solely in the discretion of the trainer, you will be asked to leave the studio. No refunds will be given.
1.3 Samantha Schmidt has the right to remove any Student from her trainings if, in her sole discretion, the Student is exhibiting behavior of an intoxicated person or a person under the influence of drugs.
1.4 Samantha Schmidt is entitled to change the venue or make changes to the structure of the training for any reason whatsoever.
1.5 Samantha Schmidt may use the Student's image or likeness in any live or recorded video or photograph for promotional and/or advertising purposes.
1.6 Student agrees that this training is solely for his/her benefit.
1.7 Student agrees that this training does not in any way qualify him/her to be a trainer.
1.8 Training materials will be available on the online portal hosted by Kajabi with 365 days of access.
1.9 Each week there will be assigned homework and assessments. Student must pass before the next weeks material will be given. It is the responsibility of the Student to stay on track and complete their pre-course material before their in-person training dates.
1.10 The hands-on training will begin after the online training is completed and during the assigned days and times. The hands-on training will be over the course of 3 days in the studio, The Beauty Lair. The first training day is a recap day, practicing on latex, theory/discussion, and social media. The second day is shadowing day; you will be able to ask questions and watch me work on at least 1 model. The last day is MODEL day; under the supervision of Samantha Schmidt you will perform the techniques learned on a model.
1.11 Hands-on training days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays ONLY from 9a-3p. lunch will be provided.
Fees and Cancellations
2.1 Full payment of the course Is required before receiving the kit and starting in-person Basic to Boss: Brows training course. If full payment is not made there will be no refunds of the first payment nor access to the rest of the course or materials. An invoice will be sent after signup with the remaining balance and must be paid prior to in-person training/receiving kit.
2.2 A full kit will be provided once full payment is made. The kit provided will include a tattoo machine, power supply, and cord. Microblading tools to complete at least 25 procedures. A complete pigment set, and many other tools to practice and perform the procedure.
2.3 There are no refunds. Once you start the program and are assigned in-person training dates you will not be given a refund if you fail to complete material. Please ensure that you have adequate time to commit to your success.
Privacy/Ownership
3.1 Students are not permitted to use any electronic device during the workshop unless agreed upon in writing with Samantha Schmidt. It is at Samantha Schmidt's discretion to allow the use of any electronic device.
3.2 Students must not film or record any portion of the training both online and In-person.
3.3 Students must not photograph any presentation, illustration, materials used in the training.
3.4 Students are aware of the fact that manuals, handouts, power point slides, photographs, etc, ( collectively known as " Samantha Schmidt training materials") are the sole property of Samantha Schmidt.
3.5 Students are not permitted to copy, sell, publish, redistribute, reproduce, use for training, or provide to a third party in whole or in parts any Samantha Schmidt training materials.
3.6 Students can use Samantha Schmidt's training materials solely as a personal reference.

Limitation of Liability
4.1 At no time, and specifically during a training, to the extent not prohibited by applicable law, in no event shall Samantha Schmidt be liable for personal injury, or any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, damages alleged to be arising out of or related to the Student's attendance at the training. In no event shall Samantha Schmidt's total liability to you for all damages exceed the total amount of fees and deposit that Student has paid to Samantha Schmidt. The foregoing limitations will apply even if the above stated remedy fails of its essential purpose.
4.2 Samantha Schmidt is not responsible for any personal injury or damage to the property arising from incidents occurring at the training venue. Student assumes all risk and danger incidental to the workshop including death, personal injury, loss, damage, or liability.
4.3 Please be aware of where you keep your belongings in the studio and please remember to check your equipment or devices you have at the end of your training so that you do not leave anything behind. We are not responsible for loss of, or damage to your personal property.
4.4 Student shall indemnify, protect, and defend and hold harmless Samantha Schmidt, and its agents and/or partners, employees, directors, officers, and shareholders from and against all and any claims, damages, liens, judgements, penalties, attorneys' and consultants' fees, expenses and/or liabilities, arising out of, involving, or in connection with, Student's participation in this workshop. If any action or proceeding is brought against Samantha Schmidt by reason of any foregoing matters, Student shall upon notice defend the same at Student's expense by counsel reasonably satisfactory to Samantha Schmidt; and Samantha Schmidt shall cooperate with Student in such defense. Samantha Schmidt need not have first paid any such claim in order to be defended or indemnified.
General
5.1 The Contract contains all the terms agreed between you and Samantha Schmidt and superseded any discussions or other information previously provided concerning the training, Basic to Boss: Brows.
5.2 If either party files suit in a court of law to interpret or enforce the terms of the Agreement, the part prevailing in such action shall be entitled, in addition to any legal fees incurred in defending against any third-party claim, to its reasonable legal fees and costs incurred in such action to interpret or to enforce the terms of this Agreement.
5.3 This Agreement shall be interpreted under the law of California and any court action brought within the scope of this Agreement will be brought in the Victorville Court.
5.4 No terms in this Agreement may be amended or waived unless agreed to in writing by Samantha Schmidt.
5.5 Samantha Schmidt has the right to refuse training or admission to the hands-on training to anyone. In the event that Samantha Schmidt refuses training, Samantha Schmidt will refund payments made.
5.6 By enrolling in this training program, there is no guarantee of employment with The Beauty Lair.
By choosing to complete payment you are agreeing to the terms of this Agreement.
