Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo that is done by using a handheld configuration of needles to create thin lines that resemble eyebrow hairs. These tiny needles deposit pigment in to the dermal layer of the skin.

Microblading and shading means we do Microblading throughout the eyebrow but we also use a machine to create a powder-like fill in specific areas or throughout the eyebrow. We can use shading to match density, create an ombre brow, or to simply create more of a filled in look. It is a very versatile option for natural looking brows

Not exactly. It is impossible to predict how much pigment will fade away and how long it will take to do so. Typically the pigment is at its brightest for 18 months. Results depend on skin type, health, aftercare, and lifestyle.

I allow 2 1/2 hours for the first session. This includes time for intake forms, consultation, numbing, design, and the procedure. Perfecting sessions can take anywhere from 45mins- 90 mins depending on what needs to be done. I pride myself in taking time with your design. You are 100% involved and we will make sure you lobe your shape before starting.

Everyone's tolerance is different and therefore this is a subjective question. I use a 5% lidocaine to numb the area. I also apply additional numbing throughout the process; as often as needed. Most clients are pleasantly surprised at the comfort level achieved. My goal is to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Microblading and Microblading and Shading are two-step processes. Although some clients may be satisfied after the intitial appointment, a perfecting session is included and must be scheduled 6-8 weeks after the initial appt and no later than 90 days. In rare cases, an additional session may be needed and is not included in the original package price. Additional session pricing can be found on my booking website.

A consultation is required BEFORE booking an appointment. I must see them in person and results are not guaranteed, Clients who do not have a consultation/discussion with me prior to booking an appointment may run the risk of losing their deposit if we cannot work on the previously tattooed brow. Brows must be 80% faded to achieve proper results. I now offer non-laser tattoo removal that may be discussed.

Yes, you may bring one person, 18 years of age or older, with you to your appointment. No Children are allowed at either location ( for their safety and per San Bernardino health board)

Appointments must be rescheduled within 48 hours notice. Any no shows or cancellations within 48 hours will forfeit their deposit and be required to re-book a new appointment for an additional booking fee. NO EXCEPTIONS. Any client more than 20 minutes late will forfeit their deposit and be required to re-book a new appointment for an additional booking fee.

Samantha Schmidt opens her book monthly on the 1st at 9am for the following month. For example, January 1st at 9am will open availability for Febrruary. February 1st will open up March and so on. There is not a waitlist and any last minute openings will be posted on Instagram stories.
